AISI 301 Traits

AISI 301 T1 or E-301 are used where standard properties are required but with an improved level of toughness.

AISI 302/304 Traits

The AISI 302/304 stainless steel has a rigid body with a chromium content between 19-21%. The steel will have excellent resistance to oxidization and corrosion. This steel’s other desired traits include high electrical conductivity, excellent resistance to steel welds, and high toughness. The AISI 302/304 stainless steel is not as hard as the 316 stainless steel, but it has better corrosion resistance qualities.
